It's funny how Dusty is a huge racist who favors black players in another post while here he's the champion of Texas born Kerry Wood and repressing Dontrelle Willis from getting to the all-star team...

... in all fairness I hope Dontrelle goes. He deserves it.

... I think we've all seen enough of Clemens. He's got his ring with the team that didn't need him to win. He got his superficial 300th win-- there's no other stat in site to make himself look more attractive. Time to hang em' up and retire to the mental hospital.

Superficial 300th? Clemens deserved that win as much as anyone. He works his *** off to be as good as he is at his age. He's one of the best pitchers in the history of the game, superficial nonsense.

Funny I was just thinking the same thing. I honestly would have like to see him give Belhorn more of a chance, mostly cause besides Sosa and Choi he was one of the only guys who would draw a walk.
But he is playing Ramon Martinez a lot so is Dusty only racist against white and not Latino players, but then he didn't seem to have a problem with handing the closer role to Borowski, can't get any whiter than that.
            (note I am being sarcastic)

Of course it's a great achievement, but in my opinion he stuck around for this season JUST to break that mark... I think that's superficial. Sorry.

Plus he's a bat-tossing, head-hunting jackass who's lucky he plays in the AL...

Whether he stuck aroind just for his 300th win (and he wouldn't be the first pitcher to do that) or not, he can still pitch (he's leading the AL in strikeouts!) so what's the big deal?

3 days ago Willis said that even though he was invited to the All Star Game, he is very much honored to be invited and voted for it, but he decided not to, because of all the other people that have played many years and worked their *** off. They worked hard to go places, and Willis said that other people deserve to go to the ASG... Willis has been there for less than half a year, and he feels that other people that have been around longer deserve the chance to play in the ASG.
