i'm a yankee fan i take bonds over matsui. i'm sorry but even at age 45 bonds would still probably put up 30 homeruns over that short porch in left. there knee problems are both the same at least bonds can actually draw a walk.

Matsui draws walks all the time.

63 walks to 75 strikeouts this year he has never drawn more walks than strikeouts in his career with the yanks

                      Ummm, so?

There were all of 13 qualified players in the league that drew more walks than strikeouts this year. Matsui wasn't too far behind them, he ranked 19th in the league in BB/KK ratio.

Not to mention your being slightly disingenuous. He drew exactly as many walks as strikeouts in 2007 after drawing more walks than K's in his shorted 2006 season.

                        matsui can walk too.
i watched enough yankee games this year to say that.
I never said, 'man he never walks'.
