Yankees vs Red Sox
Bernie Williams just hit an RBI single in the top of the 7th to give the Yankees a 3-2 lead, and knock Pedro out of the game. Great game so far!Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnTags: None -

Wow, great game...too bad the Sox lost, but it was still a great one. Jets did you think the ump was squeezing way too much tonight?

I saw the game and it may have been a little small but it was alright. He didn't call high strikes for either team but it wasn't that bad.Comment

Yea I did, I thought Jeter should have been punched out on that 3-2 pitch that got Pedro upset. Same with a few other calls for both pitchers. At least he was consistent thoughOriginally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

Re: Yankees vs Red Sox
Yeah, he was consistent, but Pedro and Wells shouldn't combine for NINE walks in one game...
That and a 4-3 nine inning game shouldn't take almost 4 hours to play. I thought baseball wanted to shorten games, but yet they want the strike zone to be smaller...I don't get itComment
