    Re: Yankees vs Red Sox

McCarver said earlier that Kim's pitch that hit Giambi last night was almost certainly out of frustration. I'm just tired of seeing Giambi get hit. It seems like it happens after a big hit all the time. With Pedro's pitch to Soriano, I just figured, hey, its Pedro Martinez with great control, who was barely missing his spots last night so I assumed that he didnt want Soriano bunting.

Tough loss today though. Benitez's 2-2 pitch was really close then the next pitch was the game winner. Unfortunately, tomorrow the Yankees have Jeff Weaver on the mound.

Yea, and McCarver's words our truth

Yankees announcers last night didn't seem to think either was close to being intentional.

Last nighe, Pedro OWNED Soriano. It was clear that Alfonso wasn't comfortably in the box.
As far as today's game is concerned, I thought Jeremy was out at 2nd and the Umpire missed the call. Oh, and talk about David Ortiz, as if I needed another reason to hate him.
" I look at him and it's getting to the point where it's just scaring me. He looks younger but he doesn't carry himself in a younger manner. He's impressive, and I'm glad we drafted him. "
            - Lavar Arrington on his new Redskins teammate Sean Taylor.

Jeff Weaver vs. Derek Lowe tomorrow....

The Yankees bats may have to win tomorrow's game.
