I hope one of the Red Sox players, preferably Nomar or Manny, get plunked this afternoon after Pedro throwing behind Soriano's head after he tried to lay down a bunt and after Kim hitting Giambi (I think it was Kim).

Why? Both of those were clearly unintentional.

Yeah, that one to Soriano was a curve that clearly got away from Pedro.

No kidding...Pedro wasn't trying to hit Soriano, that was a curve that got away, and Kim wasn't trying to hit Giambi either, that would make no sense whatsoever.

McCarver said earlier that Kim's pitch that hit Giambi last night was almost certainly out of frustration. I'm just tired of seeing Giambi get hit. It seems like it happens after a big hit all the time. With Pedro's pitch to Soriano, I just figured, hey, its Pedro Martinez with great control, who was barely missing his spots last night so I assumed that he didnt want Soriano bunting.

Tough loss today though. Benitez's 2-2 pitch was really close then the next pitch was the game winner. Unfortunately, tomorrow the Yankees have Jeff Weaver on the mound.
