With how pathetic Seattle is, they would have to overpay a ton, but that happens all the time. Tigers had to overpay Pudge to come to Detroit after they lost 119 games. But sometimes you just need that one player, no matter how much you pay them. Seattle desperately needs a bat like Fielder to build around.

You're right, they won last year that means they're a super team that will win every year, Last time I checked they wont even make the playoffs this year.

Should probably check the injury list,pitching staff and then imagine adding Pujols to that.

I wouldn't be surprised if Loria opened his paybook as there have been some rumblings about it with the new ballpark, doubt it tho. I wouldn't want to play for Miami tho

I've heard some basic rumblings that the Rangers want in on the first baseman market this year, but I don't know if the new guys will pony up the money for the privilege. I know that Jon Danials wants Yu Darvish and C. J. Wilson in the off-season, but he might sacrifice one for the rights to Pujols/Fielder. In any case, it's nice knowing that Texas Tea is finally running the Rangers machine. It's good to have money...
