Beautiful looking park. I like the bleacher design.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Fun fact: Day in and day out in middle school I would draw baseball stadiums. I would draw them from memory and I would create my own. As far as for specific teams, I still have one of a new Mets stadium scanned on my computer that I thought would be cool:

(only thing I didn't create was a cool cityscape backdrop with it)

And I made a legit Marlins one that would be retractable and also be a football stadium, but I don't think I can find that one anymore. If I find it, I'll put that one up as well. But in the end, they're both getting their own stadiums with their own plans, so it's all moot haha.

But yes, I'm anal when it comes to my stadiums.

Oh, totally understandable. I don't think I even finished my last post though, as I wanted to say that as far as placement goes, it works beautifully with the rest of the city. You can see this on replays in The Show, and I even saw a cool exterior where a freeway has a tunneled section underneath I believe the first base side of the stadium. Its foundation may not be solid, but it was well thought out.

It's kinda like a mix between Safeco and the Busch Stadium, which is awesome.

I think this is probably my 3rd favorite next to Busch and Progressive.

I'd say more of a mix between Coors Field and Great American Ballpark. Okay, maybe a bit more Safeco than GAB, but you get what I'm saying lol.

As far as rankings, when Busch Stadium puts up Ballpark Village that will probably be my favorite. AT&T Park is the most engaging for the fans IMO (as far as parks that I've been to), and PNC Park and PETCO Park are drop-dead gorgeous from behind the plate. It's hard for me to pick a best, but I don't think that Target Field quite hits the top five for me just yet.

I"m going to be honest, I almost forgot about PNC. BEAUTIFUL stadium.

Busch is completely different. It's not so much beautiful as it is like a cathedral. Some times going to a stadium, you feel like you're going to see the stadium where there happens to be a game. Busch, it's like you're going to see a game inside of a stadium.

I cannot explain it, but it is awesome. I've only been there once but I'd love to go back.

They did a great job of incorporating Twins history into the stadium...take note Fred Wilpon.
