They are starting too though, they have a lot of good young players, just need to get some experience and pitching. I really think the Pirates are finally headed in the right direction.

Agreed, things are beginning to turn around. The Pirates get very little media attention so not many realize that the organization is turning around....albeit at a very slow pace because they're trying to build from within.

Yes, downtown Pittsburgh is beautiful. A lot of people still view it as an old steel town, but it's far from that now.

I think you guys offense will surprise a lot of people this year. Pitching may be a little suspect past Duke and Maholm. Hopefully Olhendorf can improve on last season.

I think if Doumit can stay healthy, the lineup is very formidable.

As someone rooting for the opposing team, I think the problem is Jake Westbrook is not Jake Westbrook circa 2005-2006. The Indians have played good defense today except for the botched DP, which costed them 2 runs.

It's quite obvious that Westbrook before his TJS is never going to happen again.
