Blzer, roids is a fundamental of a sweet swing?? Wow, no wonder they never let me bat...

And Tony Gwynn, I wish I could've seen him before he became a singles/doubles hitting Cecil Fielder. What's amazing is that he hit with horrible pot belly.

And I bet George Brett belongs in there somewhere.

And Barry Bonds didn't have the same sweet swing before steroids. Not to mention how do steroids make a swing less sweet anyways? I find it funny people try to take any credit away from Bonds based on steroids. Steriods or not, he still had a sweet swing.

Picked Griffey on the poll but agree with some that Olerud had the sweetest swing.

George Brett's swing was nice but it wasn't the most pretty i've seen. In a way it had the look of a guy just WILLING the ball to be hit in the perfect spot. The guy sure could hit in the clutch though. Just look at his postseason numbers.

            I liked Fred McGriff's helicoptor-esque swing.

Hard to say who had the "sweetest" though.

Guys like Gary Sheffield, Lary Walker had some very quick, compact and had the barrell of the bat through the strike zone for long periods of time.

I mean, this is sort of like someone coming up to you and asking which swim suit model you want to bang.

I had to vote for Manny just so that ****er didn't get shut out.

Out of the list, I'd say Griffey.

My favourite home run swing had to be Ryan Klesko's massive uppercut. Not terribly efficient, but man, when he connected, it sure looked impressive.
I miss Ryan...I followed him through his minor league career and all through the bigs. He was my favorite player the entire time he played...I just always loved the way he played the game. He was always having fun, even if he wasn't the most talented. The day he was traded to the Padres from my Braves was a sad one.

Are you serious some of the best hitters ever were in terrible shape. Baseball is not about how in shape you are.

                            Griffey Jr.

That is why he became my favorite player when I watched him when he was on Seattle the first time and watched him bat, I immediately fell in love with his swing.
