Now there talking about Gabe White? Who are we trading for him?

Gabe White is part of this deal, but they said he may be announced later because he's currently on the DL.

I love this deal because Boone is a great player and White is a good guy out of the pen. I hate to give up Claussen, but they needed a third baseman badly since Ventura is obviously slowing down.

You guys just gave up your top pitching prospect for another offensive bat?!

      Only NYY and Steinbrenner...

Well, 3rd base is a weakness, I like this trade, but I guess this means they've totally given up on Drew Henson. I like Claussen a lot, but Boone will help.

I never thought Henson would be anything in baseball but the Yankees kept on insisting that he was good and was going to be playing for them. Well maybe now he'll have time to work out with the Texans.

I want nothing more then to see the Yankees blow their payroll up over $200 million, then finish 1 game behind the Red Sox.

And, next year, if the Reds play the Yankees again, Brandon Claussen no-hits them in his ML debut.

                  Buy, George, buy!

Next year, the New York Yankees can represent the AL in the All-Star Game. Good format, eh?

I just hope all this spending doesn't add up to another WS or else this'll truly negate the positives of the current CBA.
