Re: Huge Baseball videogame new...Midway and Acclaim COULD drop out

Maybe Nintendo could pick up the High Heat franchise and make it an exclusive since neither EA and Sega (the two surviving companies, if the above is true) made baseball games for the GC. It's not like Nintendo has put out a Ken Griffey Jr. baseball game for the last 5 or 6 years.

For real, Nintendo needs to pick up High Heat. The game is already small memory wise (Can fit on the 1.5GB disk) and people look at Nintendo as not for sports gamers.

Wow that would not be cool at all. I really like All-Star baseball, and judging by the forums here, it seeemed like it was selling the best out of the baseball games. Guess I was wrong.

I don't think it sold badly, but for Acclaim as a whole to stay afloat, they need something other than just ASB. I don't think they have too many other games that sell well.

Wow just imagine the Pro Baseball forums next year if this is true. No petty High Heat/ASB wars to deal with. All that and the savings on the pocketbook.

Of course like one of the posters above I would rather see Slugfest stay and MLB go away.

I hate when people just drop out but at least Sega, or ESPN and EA are still there and those were my two favorites last year.
