I was down on Atlanta's pick from last year, Vandy's Mike Minor, but the kid is leading all of double-A in strikeouts: 91 K's in 63 innings.

Boston took our 1st rounder with the Billy Wagner signing so we've got the 35th pick. I'm hoping for a legit RH bat but they'll probably look first for a 3B.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Just wondering what the Mets will do at 7, too bad we couldn't trade for the number one to her Harper...That is my wet dream.

          Looks like as of now:

          1. Harper

          2. Taillon

          3. Machado

          4. Grandal (though apparently the pre-draft deal was false so maybe he won't go here)

Basically after 3 it's kind of up in the air.

The Bronx Bombers pick last so lets we hit on this one because Andrew Brackman has been a disaster.
I dont remember there names but they were allot of fun....

Not as big a disaster as not signing Gerritt Cole...

Meh they got a pick for him. And he changed his mind literally a couple days after being drafted. Nothing the Yankees could have done about that.

Brackman has pitched a lot better lately. You could be looking at another Daniel Bard type scenario, where a guy was though to be a complete bust and turned himself into an OK reliever.

I hope Michael Choice is available at 11 for the Jays. He's the best power hitting prospect in the draft. Hopefully the rest of the Day 1 picks for the Jays are high upside guys like Delino DeShields Jr, Austin Wilson, Kellen Deglan, etc...

Unless Whitson is still on the board, the Padres are likely to pick him or Vitek.

I wonder if the Pirates can mess the #2 pick up this year?

The Nats are so lucky that the two years in which they are the worst team in baseball just happens to coincide with the years in which Strasburg and Harper are the #1 picks. I love it.
