Re: MLB Draft 2010 (June 7-9)
Much too talented to be taken as a C.
Finally getting back into baseball... Can anyone tell me when drafted players can start playing for their new team? Could Harper start playing for Washington this season? Or does he have to wait?Comment

Re: MLB Draft 2010 (June 7-9)
He has to wait 'til next year. He'll most likely be up in 2012.Note to self: BUY MADDEN 12*
*there are considerable franchise upgrades

Re: MLB Draft 2010 (June 7-9)
He definitely won't play this season, I'd say almost definitely not next year either. He's only 17 I think. If he doesn't sign until right before the signing deadline I'd say we won't see him until late 2012.Comment

Top 3 weren't a surprise. Christian Colon is the rumor for the Royals right now.Comment

Harper could play with the Nationals this season (although there's no chance of it happening) if he signs.
Connor Gillaspie played for the Giants in the same year he was drafted (he got a couple of AB's in September that was built into his contract).Comment
