LOL @ Carlos Zambrano melting down.

Cannot wait to go to the game tomorrow!
I've had high expectations for Vizquel, considering he is one of the best defensive players in recent memory. Still keeping hope alive that he passes even a smidge of that on to Ramirez.

@ Zambrano getting suspended by the cubs.

Yea...it was pretty sweet. Still think a Franklin Guiterrez catch from earlier in the year beats it though.

Umpires need to check themselves. Tonight in the Dodger/Yanks game James Loney was called out on strikes to end the game. As they walked off Loney said "Go F-yourself..that was BS." In my mind, an umpire has to be above it all and just keep walking. Instead, the homeplate ump stops and yells, "No, F you" repeatedly before getting into it with the Dodger dugout. Maybe I'm crazy, but I just think these guys have to be above it. The players are reacting out of emotion...as an ump you can't get involved.

You have no idea how much I agree with you.

And the pitch was a ball, it was off the outside. I hate people telling me that "swing at anything close" B.S. That saying is there so that you don't accidentally take a pitch that falls into the zone or in case you're misled on where the pitch was looking to end up, not to protect yourself from the umpire widening his strike zone for some unearthly reason.

When your name is Mariano Rivera they tend to do that. Not saying it's fair because it's not. But that is just how it is sometimes.
