Rockies just got 9 in the 9th to beat the Cardinals 12-9, 3 run walkoff HR. Keeps the Reds 2 games ahead. I dig it.

Since when did Ryan Franklin change his name to Jason Isringhausen?

Coming into the game he had given up 8 runs total. He just game up 6 in 1/3 of an inning.

Bobby Jenks on in his first save situation since briefly leaving the team due to family issues.

Let's hope last nights shaky performance in a non save situation shook the rust off.

That was an amazing game.

Perhaps it wouldn't have mattered with the HR that followed, but would Gonzalez have scored if Winn had fielded that cleanly? I'm thinking not...

I am physically ill right now. This game did nothing more than solidify my opinion that Ryan Franklin is the worst pitcher in the major leagues.

If I see Franklin brought into another close game ever again, I'm turning the tv off. I'll already know how it ends.
