If I were Papi I'd cop a feel on EA since that big check is blocking the camera's view.

honestly, the HR derby is a show for the fans, and Hamilton put on one of the best performances the HR derby has ever seen

its about memorable moments, which is why Hamilton will always be remembered for 2008 and people could care less that Morneau won. I mean, Hamilton hit more in the 1st round than Morneau hit in the entire derby! Thats not a knock on Morneau, I like the guy, but winning is secondary, as it should be

I don't want to watch guys saving it up for the final round, or trying to use strategy, I want long balls! And not only that, but its about long towering HR's... if you win the derby with a bunch of wimpy shots, who cares. But when you hit 28 HR's in one round, and nearly all 28 of those are BOMBS, than that is memorable

I want to see something I've never seen before, and that my friend, is what Hamilton provided in 2008

Yep. Even if Griffey hadn't one back in the day in Baltimore, everyone would still remember him for hitting the warehouse, which is what the majority of people probably remember about that Derby, not the fact that he won.

Much of the reason I enjoyed this year's derby is because Ortiz won but there were a few neat things I saw that made it a nice overall experience. I thought it was cool that Nick Swisher still looks up to the skies...even in the homerun derby. I'm sure it's all part of his procedure but it was neat nonetheless.

Another thing I am sort of surprised by is why so many dislike Joe Morgan and Chris Berman. It seemed like Berman had a hard time gauging where the ball was but it made the experience of him calling the shot more dynamic because it may or may not go. With Joe Morgan, I understand he says some odd things at times but he seems like a very humble guy, always giving people the benefit of the doubt.
Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.

Probably one of the most boring HR derby's that I can remember.

Still can't believe Bautista wasn't in it.

I predict another blowout of the NL tonite. Seeing the comparisons of starting lineups was laughable. Crawford hitting 9th, Cano hitting 8th for the AL. Shows how deep their lineup is.

NL has strong pitching going for them, and their lineup is pretty solid.
