sinkers and cutters you don't need them, and they put a good amount of strain on the elbow. Learn how to locate a 4 seam fastball on both sides of the plate in your sleep before you go to a sinker or cutter..

a properly thrown cut fastball puts no extra strain on your arm. it is simple a modified version of your fastball. The only difference is you put more pressure on one finger.

depends on how much pressure you choose to use. I promise you, over time you'll feel a difference. I'm not saying I'm totally against them. Just you don't need a cutter, until you can locate a 4 seam fastball nearly everytime.

I agree. Cutters aren't really a necessary pitch. And in order for them to be effective, you really have to be able to throw hard, or else it will just be a weaker version of your fastball. However, if you can throw a good cutter in addition to a quality fastball, it will really help your pitching.

Mariano Rivera is a future Hall of Famer because he perfected the cutter.

Cutters are for people who enjoy hurting themselves.
