He did that one other time recently too. Probably the most unprofessional announcer in sports history. I also can't stand it when he refers to the opposing team as the "bad guys". Just ridiculous. Words cannot describe the hatred I have for that man.

What I don't get is the staunch support he gets from many White Sox fans. I mean, if a guy did things like this to your team, would you ever want to listen to him ever again?

Harrelson served as a Chicago White Sox announcer from 1982 to 1985 and briefly left broadcasting during the 1986 season to become the White Sox's General Manager. Many people questioned his work ethic as a GM because he was often found on the golf course instead of in the office. In addition, others questioned his personnel decisions. During that one season, Harrelson fired field manager Tony LaRussa (who was soon hired by the Oakland Athletics, whom he led to three consecutive AL pennants) and assistant general manager Dave Dombrowski (who became baseball's youngest general manager with the Montreal Expos just two years later). Harrelson also traded rookie Bobby Bonilla, later a six-time All-Star, to the Pittsburgh Pirates for pitcher Jose DeLeon.

I love watching these Iowa errr I mean Chicago Cubs.

Seriously, half of Ryno's team is up here now, why not just call him up as well.

For a great defensive catcher Jose Molina sure sucks.

He literally cost the Jays a chance of winning the game with that passed ball today.

I think it's because Hawk exemplifies a large portion of the Sox fan base, the ones that tend to be loud and obnoxious and thus easier to notice.

I don't think it's just Sox fans. I think Chicago generally likes the louder, more obnoxious homer types like Harry Caray, Hawk, Chuck Swirsky etc etc.

Right, we're basically referring to the same group of fans. They tend to be so loud, unruly, and obnoxious that they come across as the majority.

Get home, (finally, had meeting all day) turn on TV in time to see JHey knock it though.

Seriously, that was the 1st pitch I saw of the game. Awesome.

The J-HEY KID just comes through with 2 outs and the game on the line.

Dominic Brown hit a shot tonight in the Phillies-Giants game ( 440 feet).

Reds were down 7-3 at the end of 7, then won the game 11-7

What an ending to the Dodgers-Rockies game. I think ESPN should do a doubleheader every Wednesday night.

Its going to be one hell of an interesting finish to the season. Hopefully Hamels can get it done tonight, and we can move up 3 games in the Wildcard lead.
