Rockies win 9 straight games, it was actually a good game and the announcers said it was a sell out at coors.

That's a new one. The walkoff hit by pitch. Yanks lose 7-6.

Wow, Rangers get it done once again! Sorry Yankee fans, but Texas really needs these games, and you can sense the urgency within the Rangers gameplan and playing style.

Yankees look like they're content to just get the hell up out of Texas and go head to head with Tampa.

As a Ranger fan, I'm sitting here looking at Oakland, and just shaking my head though... this is all set up for a critical 4 game set in Oakland where either Oakland will close the gap signficantly, or this baby will get blown wide open... either way, the AL West gets decided in 10 days. That's nerve wracking times right there my friends..

That race is over. The Rangers have a 7.5 game lead and a 98% chance of making the playoffs. They have nothing left to play for.

Mike Stanton with a 2 homer game against nationals so far today, giving him 20 which I think is now the lead for all rookies and he's only been playing since June. Add in his minor league home runs gives him 40+ for the season, he has a very bright future ahead of him

                      Francis (4-4) vs Luebke (1-1)
                      Hammel (10-7) vs Garland (13-11)
De La Rosa (7-4) vs Richard (12-7)

Hammel and De La Rosa both gave up 2 runs @ San Diego last time. Francis I dont trust since he's got the shoulder issues still, get 4 innings from him and go to Esmil Rogers for innings eater since his arm doesnt tire.

Congrats Rockies fan. It must be nice to play in an area where a guy can swing low and knock one out with a one hand swing.

The Padres will be 1.5 game out of first after this next series... unless the Giants win the next three days and it'll be 3 games out.

Time to stick a fork in this team. 5 runs in a four game series is last-Should flip-flop the Padres and the D-Backs in the standings.

Tim you might want to stop pitching to A.P. 2 HR's.

The Jays had a nice little comeback win after a woeful weekend against Tampa but that's not the news i'm most excited about. You see, Kyle Drabek will be making two starts towards the end of the season! Both games will be in Toronto and he'll be facing Seattle and the Yankees. (Sept. 22nd and 28th)
