Re: September 13th - 19th Game Discussion
With a win today, they are only basically 3 games out of 1st with 16 games left. Rockies take care of their business, I see them in. Big if I know, but there is still hope.7 National Championships

Re: September 13th - 19th Game Discussion
Reminds me of Matt Holliday's late-season push in 2007. Pretty crazy that Tulowitzki is just one home run shy of what Holliday put up that season in September.
I could easily get mad at Bud Black for keeping Richard in the game despite the fact that he was serving up batting practice despite having a few pitchers in the pen that can pitch in long relief, but I don't know when the Padres have their next off day.
Again, 6 runs... sure wish they would do that at PETCO Park.Comment

Re: September 13th - 19th Game Discussion
Jeter tried to bunt and the ball hit the knob of his bat, not even close to his hands. But Jeter dropped the bat and acted like he was in agony, trainer and Girardi come out, and the ump bought it and sent him to first. Maddon gets thrown out, and then Granderson comes up and hits a homerun to give the Yankees a 3-2 lead.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment
