Jason Hammel said he has the dead arm, not what I want to hear when he's starting one of the games I'm going to this week

I could have hit that one...right down the middle.

AAAAAAHHHH...our defense has SUCKED. Prado has just not played well at 3B like he did at 2B.

Martinez was clutch there...could not give up any more runs. Now lets get to the Doc.

On another note, does anyone see any similarities in the Phils rotation and the Braves of the 1990's? Halladay = Maddux, Oswalt = Smoltz, and Hamels = Glavine. The way they each pitch reminds me of each, although I think Hamels throws more strikes than Glavine.

Man, it's going to be so hard to push across runs against Halladay since we don't have anyone who's a real power threat. It's too difficult to string hits together...someone needs to go yard.

                    I see it, it's definitely a small-scale Maddux/Glavine/Smoltz thing.

Doc and Greg are as different as two pitchers can be unless you are talking about what they mean to their team.

How do you figure? Both have/had impeccable control, rely on movement more than velocity, and can/could dial it up when they need to.

I always think of doc as a power pitcher. Is he not?

I don't remeber Greg topping 90 that much.
