I have only casually observed this thread, but if there's one thing I have learned, it's that you flat out hate Jeter. I'm curious about it, how long have you been a yankee fan? Do you just hate him for this season?

Now that they're out of it, the Tigers are finishing strong. Won 8 of 9 games, sweeping both the Twins and White Sox while taking 2 of 3 from KC.

If only we could have played .500 ball for that stretch after the all star break this might actually mean something

Twins are kind of coasting and I don't like it. Then again, we basically fielded half a lineup this series.

The loss yesterday was especially troubling after having such a large lead.

And it looks like we're going to be playing the Yankees in the first round. That's worked well in the past.

Haha yea, the yankees haven't been the best matchup. It's true the Twins didn't throw their best lineup at the Tigers but I'm still gonna be happy! Don't buzzkill now

But seriously, I'm pulling for Minny. It's their time, I'm a Gardenhire fan and a Twins/Phillies or Twins/Reds series would be great to watch.

I don't hate Jeter, this year I may, he's been one of the worst major leaguers, I'm pretty sure he's recorded the most outs in the MLB this year. If not #1, then #2. Anyway, I hate Yankees fans that dont criticize Jeter and give him a free pass when a guy like A-Rod was having MVP seasons and STILL being hated on. That is what I hate. If Jeter is having a bad season, call him out on it
