    I know it's just one game, but I LIKE Jason Bay!

    Why? He almost hit the ball out of the yard in his first two at bats, he walked in his third, and he struck out looking on a very questionable 3-2 pitch.

    He's only 24, but it looked like he really knows the strikezone for someone his age. I don't remember him flailing with the bat or taking bad swings once, and he held back on quite a few good "out" pitches when he ended up walking.

    If he does this all the time, he's going to do well!

                Watched him have a torrid first month here in Portland-- I think the guys a player. The Pirates were wise taking him instead of Nady.

                      Yeah his stats looked real good. Hopefully tomorrows game is on TV and I can watch him play. He looks like a keeper to me!
