I'm sure everyone in Minny would rather miss the playoffs next year then have to face these guys again. I don't know what it is about the Yankees but year in year out it seems they become whipping boys to the Yanks. I know if I was a Twins fan i'd be wondering what this franchise did to deserve this fate.

Well for one the Twins rotation seems to always feature pitch to contact pitchers. Guys like Pavano, Duensing, Blackburn, Baker, etc. The Yankees feast on those types of pitchers. They need some more strikeout guys because it always seems like these pitch to contact guys end up leaving pitches over the fat part of the plate and the Yankees hitters tee off on them.

Great game last night, Hughes was really sharp. Twins looked lost at the plate. I was at the stadium last night and most of the Twins fans left in the 7th inning. Everyone in the stands was chanting "Beat the traffic!" as they were heading down the stairs lmao!

Stadium was rocking until Wood crumbled on the mound then the crowd got ugly. Good thing the rest of the bullpen picked him up.

Man was I glad I couldn't watch the game last night.

Another embarrassing series all-around against the Yankees, color me unsurprised.

I think this is true with all teams...I know I see people posting about Braves games and they wouldn't know a baseball if it hit them in a head.
