And another great atart for Halladay against an awesome team. 1 ER and only 4 hits in a complete game.

Tell me that that isn't harder to do against the Yanks then the Tigers.

Loiaza still deserves it...It is not Estebans fault that he is getting these starts...his record should be 20-4 but he HAS lost two games to the Tigers 1-0...

Esteban definatly deserves it this year..He is pitching in very meaningful games, also..

Halladay definitely got himself back in the Cy Young race with that performance today. The guy is a stud. He saves that whole pitching staff.

Same could be said for Loiaza at the beginning of the year....He was pretty much the only one that I felt confident with on the mound in the first half..

Loiaza definatly deserves it...a non roster invitee into the Cy Young...what a great story.

He deserves it. He doesn't 'definitely' deserve it. Both guys still have a few starts left-- the Sox visit Boston and the Yanks come to Chicago so if Loaiza has a decent month he's going to deserve the award. Halladay on the other hand has a very easy last month from a glance at the Jays schedule, so he'd better be dominant if he wants the award. Either way, the end of season stats will be more telling then they are now.

That is the real problem. I really hope that the voters don't take into account that Loazia has sucked his whole career. That is not fair to Halladay the decision should be based on this year only and I'm afraid that voters might be swayed by that fact that Loaiza came out of nowhere.

As for the easy vs. hard schedule. Loaiza has had a much easier year than Halladay so far so this should just even things out.
