Lets not get fussy boys, i know of 29 other teams that would love to be up 1-0.

Once again Uribe wins the game.

That HR made the difference. I think if Texas gets that final out in that inning we get our typical 1 run wins the game outcome. Rangers were chasing those 3 runs all night long which goes to show just how important every ptich is in the postseason.

Storylines for Game 2 will be which team's hitting comes back down to Earth first. Will SF score 8 - 11 runs a game tomorrow? Will Texas continue hitting SF pitching? (Uribe and Renteria bailed Lincecum out of a few)

        Agreed...

They just make sure we're on the edge of our seats until the final out...pretty much every time...

Nah they did this in September too. I mentioned it in the other series they were due. They had a bunch of 0-3 games then dropped 6-13.

Will I did feel like Lee was do for a bad game. Very happy with the game tonight. Hope Cain is on and take a 2-0 back to Texas.

True it is crazy. But this lineup is actually pretty solid. Torres and Freddie had a solid year. And Posey and Juan have been clutch all year.

Giants were the better team tonight. Not worried at all though, if we win tomorrow we are in great shape.

If you're not worried you're not paying attention. Cain hasn't given up an earned run in the playoffs, just 1 unearned.

Not that such things mattered tonight with Lee.

And Lee hadn't lost a postseason game ever... that's why we play the games. Records and stats are meant to be broken in the World Series. It's about who's hot at that moment. If anything this game should have been the epitome that WE and the analyst don't know what's going to happen, and we should just sit back and watch... but oh well.

Rangers did score their quota, it wasn't good enough to win tonight, Giants were the better team. But If the Rangers get their quota again, wiill the Giants score 11 runs again tomorrow?

Had the Rangers been shut out tonight, I think I'd be worried, but the Rangers did what they've done all postseason on the road against a good bullpen. I'll take that same effort and a few less errors at house money any day.

Looking forward to the game tomorrow morning here. Just want another solid 6 innings out Cain the big dog. These guys seem absolutely locked in at the plate. All postseason these guys have been fouling balls off, working the count and getting clutch hits. Right now if we keep this approach at the plate we are going to be in every game, no matter the deficit. Have come from 2-0 down in game 6 against phillies and this game, correct? Against Oswalt and Lee. So anything is posssible.

Giants looked really good last night. But it is the first game. Cant wait for tonight to see what they do. As said they seem to be really seeing locked in at the plate. Going to be really tough to beat if that keeps up.

My take on the series from here on out is it's a lot more likely that the rangers average 8 runs as opposed to San Fran averaging 8+.

Can't wait to see Lee again. Now he is on normal rest and pissed off.

That.....wasn't quite what I envisioned for the first game of the World Series. Lincecum was rattled from the start and Lee didn't have his "A" game. Hopefully it'll be a tighter game tonight. The Giants got over their hiccups and were the better team last night but we'll see what happens tonight.
