        Soria and Uggla was also a rule V draftee. So someone one here might be the next solid player.

          Hamilton was taken by the Cubs in the 2006 rule 5 draft and sold to the Reds for cash.
          Santana was taken by the Marlins in 1999 from the Astros and traded to the Twins.

          Some fairly big name players have been taken in the rule 5 draft besides Hamilton and Santana. Gerorge Bell, Paul Blair, Bobby Bonilla, Cecil Cooper, Darrell Evans, Willie Hernandez, Mike Morgan, Shane Victorino (only player to be selected in two different drafts), John Wettleland, oh and arguably the greates rule 5 selection ever made...Roberto Clemente.
