Shawn Estes gets botulism!!!

I wish. Anything to keep his lame arse from starting against the CARDS.
As soon as the Cubs get some mojo workin', this guy gets a start. 3-1 in this series is good momentum, but it will mean little if we only gain ONE FRICKIN GAME on STL.
There are tons of arms in the Cubs system, some in AA, some in AAA. Anything would be better than estes, if just for a change.
Don't get me wrong, when he is good, he does alright, but he hasn't been good very often this season.

If the cubs miss the postseason, we can say this.....
1. you should have dumped JUAN CRUZ for Lowell and
2. you should have gottn another starter.....anybody.

The Marlins did not want to trade Lowell...the Cubbies tried but the Marlins didn't want to give him up..with good reason..

What exactly is Ramirez doing wrong? He seems to be doing pretty good for you guys..

right, he's not doing badly, but his first 2-1/2 weeks weren't so hot.
I am not unhappy with Ramirez, neccessarily, but the Fish would have given Lowell up, from what i heard, for the right stuff.
