              If this question was "what player on your team do you want at the plate", I would go with Placido Polanco. You can count on him to at least put the ball in play and not try to do too much

                    In their respective primes I would've picked either Mattingly or Edgar Martinez.

                    In today's game I can't think of anyone I'd pick other than Pujols.

                          With a runner on second and a tie game in the bottom of the 9th Albert is taking a jog to 1st as he will be intentionally walked every time.
