Re: Take Halladay Out!!!
He didn't throw more than 100 pitches. Maybe they want to keep their bullpen fresh? Or maybe it's because they're in the AL and they don't need to make a move to get him out of there. -

Re: Take Halladay Out!!!
Normally i'd agree with you but 2 things:
1) Halladay is a workhorse. He's in the mold of a Dave Stieb he thrives the longer he's in a game. He's the type of pitcher who can easily pitch with just 3 days rest. In fact when the Jays were experimenting with a 4 man rotation he was the only starter that didn't have a problem with it.
2) He only threw 99 pitches. good-Very good pitchers can usually pitch up to 120 pitches or more. He had enough to go another inning or so. I think if the game was still going Tosca would sit him down after the 11th because by that time he'd probably have close to 115-120 pitches.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

exactly what he said, im a big blue jays fan and watch the games.
1. Halladay only threw 99 pitches, he has a hard curveball to go along with his fastball that makes him effective, and with a slider in the mix.
2. Hallady is a work horse, sometimes he pitches every third day. He stacks 230+ innings a year, this year he might pull 250.
