This is exactly what i hate about baseball now...People see 10 innings or 100 pitches and they think he might be overworked......I dont get it.....I'm still waiting for a pitcher to walk out and throw his 100th pitch and then explode....

So you're saying that you've never heard of AJ Burnett, Mark Burehle, or Jon Lieber? These pitchers were used extensively over the past few years and have all three have suffered the effects. Burnett and Lieber are out due to injury and Burehle has shown fatigue all season.Comment

Curt Schilling, Randy Johnson, Roger Clemons, Mike Mussina, Nolan Ryan, etc etc etc... They never had arm problems, and they threw lots of innings and lots of pitches??? Maybe those that have gotten hurt started throwing curveballs too early, maybe they've had bad mechanics?
