    no way i would root for the dodgers unless the giants directly benefit from it. just get your dodger-hatin' fix during the regular season and then focus on the main goal during the playoffs. plus, the dodgers' pitching is a threat in the playoffs, especially when the pitching rotation goes down to 3 or 4 guys. last year was a anomaly - pitching, even with weak hitting, will get you far into the playoffs.

      Especially now, their hitting's been much better of late... I think that if they make it, they'd be very dangerous, possibly even more so than the Cubbies. After all, with the Cubs, you can rely on Dusty making some questionable moves (like ever letting Shawn Estes pitch,) but the Dodgers always seem to play up to the Giants and make good moves when it's crucial.

        Especially now, their hitting's been much better of late... I think that if they make it, they'd be very dangerous, possibly even more so than the Cubbies. After all, with the Cubs, you can rely on Dusty making some questionable moves (like ever letting Shawn Estes pitch,) but the Dodgers always seem to play up to the Giants and make good moves when it's crucial.
