Alcohol bans wouldn't mean ****. Majority of people are drinking well before they enter the stadium anyway. Besides, if you're going to do something like this, chances are you're lookin' for a fight anyway. Banning something doesn't make the ill-effects go away.

The problem is that Dodger Stadium has fan problems. They have no real police enforcement to control and deter, either. I go there multiple times a season and there's hardly anything stopping anyone from committing a crime like this. The lots are huge.

And comparing a guy who may very well have brain damage to Philly fans throwing snow at Santa is absurd.

I wasn't trying to compare the two at all, I was just responding to the Philly fan, but after reading it I can see how it can come off that way.

If the rest of baseball wanted to know what it would be like to have two Felix Hernandez's in the same rotation, with the risk of facing them on back-to-back days their going to find out.

I am terrified of going to the Braves game in a couple weeks too....especially since if I go I might very well have to go alone.

Maybe I should just go down to a game or two in the SD series

I just think the cieling on this kid is high, very high. He isn't nearly as good as Felix is now, but give him 2 or 3 more years, and we will potentially have 2 bona fide aces. Pineda will have his moments, but I'm not naive enough to think he won't have his "Welcome to the show" moments either. But I truely believe he has Cy Young potential down the road, and is on this years ROTY watch list.

Ugh, the "Pineda Cy Young!" has infested this thread. Sigh

I never said he would win any awards this year or any year. I think what I said was he had the potential to do so.

But anyways, can't wait to see what Felix does against the Rangers tomorrow. Should be fun.

I picked a heck of a night to attend the Brewers game. Yo was on fire. Complete game 2 hit shutout. Loved seeing it in person. Loved the atmosphere with every pitch in the 9th inning.

Offensive struggles continue, but getting thrown out twice at home doesn't help. Nyj Morgan impressed me. He's what Carlos Gomez should be, a contact hitter who's more than happy to take a ball the other way for a base hit.

Good to get that first win finally. Really hoping the offense comes around though. Yo can't pitch a 2 hitter every night.
