Holy crap. I can't believe some of the situations the Jays have gotten out of in this game. That out should have been a win too if not for that terrible call on Escobar.Comment

I would take him back in a heartbeat, never wanted him to leave to begin with.
I think he wants to be with a winner so I can't see him going to the Cubs, lol. My wife would be happy as she and her family are huge Cubs fans. It makes for a interesting summer or i should say a couple of months till there out of contention, lol. Cub fans are great thou no matter what they always stick by there team which I admire. Great to see people support there team and come out whether there good or bad.
That said its my nightmare, so hopefully he stays in STL or leaves for someone other than the Cubs.Favorite Teams:
NCAA- University of Illinois Fighting Illini
NFL- Cleveland Browns
MLB- St. Louis Cardinals
NBA- Boston Celtics
NHL- Chicago Blackhawks

Yeah, I can't wait to see how Tony spins this in his presser, I will bet you anything he pins the blame on Colby (and a share of it is absolutely his) but he will defend Franklin even though Franklin got himself into that jam in the first place.
Yeah I can't blame you I'd be enjoying it to if I were in your shoes, this is painful to watch, at least last season when we weren't a great team we were good with pitching and defense, our offense would struggle but we didn't lose games due to poor defense.
This year an offseason where Mozeliak "improved" our offense with Theriot and Berkman we are still hitting like garbage and our defense sucks now, granted Berkman is hitting better than Ludwick and Theriot is hitting better than Ryan, the fact of the matter is they aren't hitting at a good enough level to offset the defensive losses.
Theriot lost us one game when he booted a cut off throw, hes failed to make other routine plays, Berkman has no range in the outfield and cost us a run tonight due to that.
This team is just painfully bad, thankfully Holliday will be back soon but no way of knowing how long or quickly he'll find his stroke again after surgery.
I have lost faith in Mozeliak, the Holliday trade looks like a good one since he'll likely be the face of the offense after Pujols leaves this offseason (I can't see him staying unless DeWitt decides to boost payroll significantly), but other than that I'm not impressed with him at all.
Trading Chris Perez for Mark DeRosa, stupid, that would be our closer right there, instead we got part of a season (a small part) of an oft injured 3B who even if healthy wouldn't have been worth parting with Perez.
Ludwick for Westbrook I hate just because Westbrook seems to get pounded far too often, if he got run support he might be fine but as it stands he isn't a front half of the rotation starter, and he got thrust into the #2 spot due to the Wainwright injury, but even if Waino was healthy Westbrook isn't a passable #3 starter, he is a #4 at best and he gets paid too much on top of all that.
Theriot signing and trading Ryan for nothing don't even get me started, Ryan couldn't hit but he played great defense and that is far more valuable for this team than the minor offensive upgrade Theriot offers which is no power but some slap hit singles.
Mozeliak sucks and this team isn't going to be contending for a while again, if this keeps up we'll likely see Carpenter dealt at the deadline and once Pujols leaves in FA we'll be rebuilding with our offense centered around Holliday and Rasmus and rotation around Garcia and a hopefully recovered Wainwright.
Barring injuries the Reds should have control of this division for a while.Comment
