Mariner broadcasters tonight were completely silent during the 3rd inning to honor Dave Niehaus. I almost cried.

Great moment, as was the silent opening pitch on the radio broadcast. I'm really looking forward to the M's home opener to honor Dave. I can't believe how much I missed something as simple as him growling "strike 1" in an important at bat.

It is time for professional sports organizations to stand up and throw their weight around in situations like the attack at Dodger Stadium.

Both teams should refuse to play until someone either turns themselves in or until they are turned in by someone else.

Sometimes, collective punishment is the way to go...sure, everyone suffers, but it should be a hell of a deterrent, and will properly demonize the perpetrators.

Just skimmed through the Marlins game, very good way to start off the season well rounded game.

42,000 or so was the attendance if only that could could happen more often besides opening day and against New York teams

Not sure if it is Cleveland looking bad or us looking good, but this team looks dangerous on offense. If we can remove the bad apples from the bullpen, we could be really good this year.

Adam Dunn was a GREAT middle of the line up signing. 35 HR 100 RBI for sure. He will K a lot and is a bit of a hole on defense but he can stroke it all day, everyday.
