Scott rolen, minus most of the power. I hit well with runners on and was a very good fielder, played pretty good defense in the outfield too.

Oh, on the field? I sucked. But I was good at defense and bunting. Anybody got a match there?

      In theory, Nate McLouth.

Re: What MLB Player are you like?

Mark Teixeira with Delmon Young's defense I still have time for improvement, good speed and good arm.

Lots of gap power, Everytime I make solid contact with the ball goes far for some reason, but I absolutely don't know how to pull the ball... as a righthanded batter all my hits go to center or Right field, which sucks, I'm still trying to learn how do I pull the fricking ball! and settle with a batting stance as I be changing it every week... but trying to stay with the same mechanics

          Paul Yanish of the Reds.
I was a defensive marvel, I could field anything-hands of gold!
Hitting was a different story tho.
When I was in little league I could crush the ball, once high school hit-I quit hitting!

I was like Omar Infante, a utility man you could stick pretty much anywhere. However i couldn't hit .300 to save my life.

Lenny Dykstra or Ryan Freel! I am reckless with no regard for my body, even playing beer league softball!!! Johnny Gomes is my speed, it's the only way I know how to play and at 38, it's taking it's toll on my old body but if I play, I can only play Johnny Gomes speed!!!

Re: What MLB Player are you like?

Well for me there are three, Adam Dunn, Milton Bradley, and Franklin Gutierrez. In terms of offense it's Dunn. I hold my high school's record for most career, and single season HR's, yet I'm also top 5 in most times struck out, I'm all or nothing, I swung as hard as I could every single at bat, and even put the ball in the lake a couple times.

In terms of personality it's Milton Bradley. I have been discribed as a hot head, not afraid to express my oppinions about anything, especially to the umps.

I played CF so in terms of defense it's Gutierrez. I was fast, and could run down just about anything, made a few great catches, I even robbed a HR from this one kid, which was probably my career highlight defensively. I also had a good arm. I threw quite a few players out at home my senior season.

Re: What MLB Player are you like?

I like to think of myself as Polanco/Austin Jackson rolled into one, if that makes sense. More like Austin Jackson minus the strikeouts, aka Polanco with more speed. Defensively I grew up playing IF then moved to OF in high school ball. But I've always been the guy the coach could put anywhere. I feel like I could play position and play it well at the varsity level.

I don't hit for any power (Very few XBH). I never strike out (4 in 45 games), line drive hitter. I steal just about every time I'm on first base and wasn't thrown out last year. I don't ever really swing and miss, I think I hit with two strikes better than anything. Last year in High School and couldn't hit anything. I would always hit semi-hard ground balls right at somebody. But for whatever reason, when I have two strikes on me, I always hit a line drive to RF over the 2nd basemens head. I wish I could do that more often lol.

Last year for HS I played CF and I'm a great outfielder. It's what gets me on the team the past three years. I have good range and catch everything. In Rec for the summer, I play shortstop. I'm not the best defensively there, but I can turn the double play, have good range, and a strong arm.

I'm hoping to hit my first homerun this year in rec ball for the summer. I join a team with a lot of friends and kids from the neighborhood. I'm working on a swing that will allow me to drive the ball to the gaps more. I probably will strike out a few more times but it's worth it for some extra base hits.

At the plate I'm Polanco with limited power, great plate discipline, good line drive swing and good with 2 strikes, in the clutch, etc.

In the outfield, I'm like Austin Jackson out there and catch everything no matter what. Lol. In the infield, I'd say I'm similar to Hanley Ramirez. Good arm, range, etc. but when I mess up it's usually on a routine play that I let go through my legs.

I pitch in the summer too. I'm our number 1 pitcher. I don't throw hard, I'd say my velocity is average, but I've always had good control. I used to have a great curveball (struck out 9 in our first game last year then lost my curve still haven't found it) and I throw a changeup a few times a game. I need to work on keeping consistent mechanics from pitch to pitch and find that curveball again.

I dont know what happened to it though. I always had a good one and it was great that first game. But ever since then, I can't throw one. Every time I grip the pitch, It feels like it isn't the right grip. It doesn't break at all so it's a BP fastball for the good hitters I faced. Anybody ever heard of that? It's like my head is blocking me from remembering how to grip the ball. Nothing feels right. Whether I'm on the mound during a game or playing catch at the park.

EDIT: Just realized I'm Omar Infante 100% replica but much whiter. I'll play anywhere, play it well, hit .300, but when it comes to power, they are many, many, many, better options.

Old Tony Gwynn, fat and I could drive the ball but had very little power.

Played a pick up game today as I usually do most Saturdays it seems, not gonna like I played some Gold Glove Caliber defense today at SS(No I don't mean I could play defense in the majors, just good compared to everyone else playing lol). Had a gorgeous diving full extension catch on a ground ball going to my right, tried to throw it off my back to 2nd but was wide right cause well I can't throw at all and a few run downs on some popups. Got some good opposite field line drive singles and doubles too, so atleast today I compare myself to Hanley Ramirez without the power lol

Pitching Wise it would be a young Mark Prior. I looked at a video of myself pitching and i used the same inverted W arm motion as he did which is the source for all of my shoulder/arm troubles
