Looks like Buehrle is done after a great performance. I'm anxious to see if the bullpen actually showed up to play tonight.

Albert Pujols has hit into 7 double plays already this season. That's mystifying.

C'mon Fuld. I love cycles, ever since I was sitting on the 3rd baseline when Felix Pie did it.

This is getting a little uncomfortable...Bases loaded for Houston in a 5-1 game, and Dempster right around 100 pitches in the 6th.

                First pitch grounder to 2nd...phew.

Wow, the Giants are doing everything very appropriately as the Dodgers come to play their first game in San Francisco. First they honor Juan Uribe for everything he did for us especially in the playoffs (getting the fans to not boo him, unless they're "uuuu"ing him lol), and then they gave a moment of silence for Brian Stow, the man who was badly beaten in the game in L.A. They're trying to make sure that everyone knows this is just a game. Way to go guys.

Cards up 1-0 early on the DBacks on an RBI double from pitcher Kyle McClellan, Molina scored all the way from first lol you could tell he was winded by the time he was rounding 3rd.

I guess if the lineup isn't going to give you any run support you have to take matters into your own hands, and Pujols lines out to LF to end the inning.

Pujols average falls to .135 yeesh, obviously don't expect this to last but Albert isn't himself at all this year, off to a horrid start at the plate and already two errors (both very routine plays), have to think hes distracted by the contract, not sure what else could be going on there.

I'm disappointed in Thornton again. Something is going to have to be done.

Bill Hall and maybe Bourn have hit homers in the 7th, 5-2 or 5-3 Cubs depending on the replay outcome.

Bourn's shot bounced off the top of the RF wall and back onto the field. Final ruling is a double.

Baseball is such a crazy game. Rays score 20 runs in 9 games, and then explode for 16 tonight.

And it means nothing as the next batter Angel Sanchez homers to left. 5-4 Cubs, and Dempster is finally pulled.
