Didn't see it so didn't know it was that bad, I agree with you Sanchez is ultimately our best option, I'm just happy to have anyone back there but Franklin right now though.

It was pretty bad, but ultimately not surprising as a Cardinals fan. It was very Franklin-esk. Just way too many hits, errors, and gaffs for a 1-run save situation.

The Astros did everything they could to try and send it to extras, but Cards were pretty adamant about letting them have this one.

Also, that wild pitch reminded me a lot of this gem:

I had a good feeling against Harang tonight...felt he was due. David Ross was in beast mode...that first home run was just stupid. I saw Blzr from a distance...he was in VIP seats tonight and ended up with a foul ball. All in all, great game to be at as a Braves fan. Looking forward to Hanson/Latos tomorrow!

I was had a chance to catch a home run ball when the Reds were doing their batting practice before a game in Qualcomm. The only problem was that I left the spot where the ball landed two minutes earlier and no one was paying attention until it actually landed in the stands and bounced around.

Haha that's still pretty cool. I was there for BP and had a couple of chances to get some home run balls if I wanted to push kids around, but rightfully decided against it. I still have five BP home run balls in my back pocket though, from: Shawn Green, Sean Casey, Phil Nevin, Shea Hillenbrand, and Robert Machado. Haven't gotten one in a long time since.

Sportsforever and I have to take you then haha. Too bad I'm moving back home in a month. No more San Diego for me (except in August for vacation). It'll be Giants and A's games for me from now on.

Yup. I've been to Atlanta a few times and I've been to Houston but they were all for football or after baseball season.

But Alex Box, which the new one is better than most AAA parks, I have lost count on how many i've been there. Has to be over 10 alone this year.
