Lose to the ******* Padres. Go figure. I'm sick of giving up walk off HR's.

The guy who's given up two walk off HR's in less than a week. Not only that, he's the worst base runner I've ever seen. Martinez is worthless.

Martinez really had himself a hell of an inning there.

          Botched sacrifice bunt... Check

Get doubled up on a pop fly to RF... Check

Give up a 2-run walk off HR to one of the worst offenses in baseball... Check

Ludwick with a 2 run walkoff homer to give the Pads a 5-3 win over the Braves.

He's been pretty brutal but hopefully that can get him going, was my favorite player back when he was on the Cards so like seeing him do well.

Someone must've notified Ludwick about my post earlier. Well good, that's why the Padres kept you this season.

Ugh...I really don't know what Fredi was thinking. I didn't like the move to leave Martinez in to bunt (Ross was in the on deck circle), then I didn't like that he was running, and of course we know how it turned out. Fun game to go to though.

Prado is not hitting and Nate has no chance against quality pitching.

So I was watching some highlights on MLB.com last night (I miss MLB Network ), and I happened to watch Brandon Boggs' homerun from the other night. Well, it must have had a profound effect on me because in my dream last night I got on the internet and read that the Brewers had signed him to a 3 year $30MM extension I also remember thinking to myself "Hmm...that's not a bad deal." Good thing I think much more logically when I am conscious.

Is there a coverage map for the MLB Network games?

Tonight its either Braves/Padres or A's/Angels. I live in LA, so I'm sure we'll get the A's/Angels game, but that would block out on MLBN anyway since we get Angels games locally. That irks me. I'm not sure why they do that? Maybe we'll get the Braves game, who knows?

Really enjoyed watching the Braves in person last night, even if they did lose. Heyward is a beast...he hit EVERYTHING hard last night. Looking forward to JJ tonight...I hope he's better than the last time I watched him here. That was Pads opening day 2010 when they romped 17-1.

Only time I saw Heyward in person, he went 0-4 with 4K (or was it 0-5 with 5K? lol)

He did strike out twice last night, once against Bell and then later against Adams (I think it was Adams). He really didn't look comfortable against either of them. When he put the ball in play last night, however, the bat makes a different sound. Really fun to watch.

Let's see if this Phillies offense is capable of putting up runs tonight. Otherwise, it's back to drinking bleach
