I love watching Jaime pitch, best starter on our staff for sure and he has really stepped it up another notch with Waino being out, definitely looks to be our ace this year.Favorite Teams:

I think it's a function of wanting your team to always do the right thing. I get this way with the Flyers, but then I watch other hockey games and see teams do the same crap, but I don't yell at them! lolComment

Re: 5/2 - 5/8 Game Discussion Thread
Really its funny though, all night tonight neither of the Cards broadcasters said a word about perfect game or no hitter.
8th inning rolls around, they get Fielder out and Al Hrabosky says the words perfect game, next batter walks, then he says no hitter next batter gets a single.
Silly superstition but pretty funny that it all happened after he said the magic words.Favorite Teams:

Adam Lind continues his torrid hitting lately with a 2-5 day with a HR and 2 RBI. I liked how the Jays jumped all over the Tigers early on and hung on for the win.
Tomorrow's gonna be interesting from a broadcast point of view as Alan Ashby moves from the radio booth to do PBP on TV and Gregg Zaun goes to the radio.
Luckily Ricky Romero is supposed to start tomorrow so i'll be recording the TV feedMember of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Royal fans (calling rspencer or chaos):
I've thoroughly enjoyed their broadcast team for the most part, very impartial...But who is the color guy, he is not very intelligent.
Early in the game when one of the Royals tried to bunt down the first base line with a runner on first and a lefty on the mound, he claimed he should be trying to bunt down the third base line.
And just now, down one with two outs he questioned why the tying runner wouldn't try and stretch a single to straightaway center into a double?Comment

Yeah it's Frank White. Usually he's pretty solid, I love hearing him talk about plays involving the middle infielders because obviously he has incredible knowledge on it (and I used to play 2B in HS). I guess he just had a bad night tonight?
It's too bad the Royals couldn't have pulled that off tonight, huge crowd for Hosmer's debut and O'Sullivan just had one bad inning.Ryan Spencer

(And no, it's not too bad they couldn't pull it out)

Both Ryan Lefebvre and Frank White make me want to stab my ears out.I can't stand listening to Royals' broadcasts, either on the radio or watching on TV. I've found, at least in my group of friends, that people either love them, or hate them. There doesn't seem to be any middle ground for whatever reason.
Anyways, I went to the game tonight and was happy to see Hosmer have a decent start. Would have liked to see him actually hit the ball, but I can't complain about the two walks and he didn't seem to have any issues at first.Comment

As mentioned though, I wasn't impressed with White's knowledge of certain situations.
Here's to hoping I get the away broadcast tomorrow night!
Hope you had fun at the game, looked like the crowd was into his debut, he got screwed on his last strikeout...Comment
