Pie in the face for Valdez = cut the interview short with Sarge Matthews = less time I have to listen to Sarge Matthews

    win-win-win

It is ridiculous how well this team plays at Miller Park.

And Greinke went deep today! God bless that man...

Scott Cousins just absolutely annihilated Buster Posey in a collision at the plate. 7-6 Marlins in the 12th. Just hope Posey is all right.

He hurt his ankle or knee. I thought he head his head. But still. That game sucked! I wish we would have loss in the 9th.

I find it amazing that Baez went 5 strong innings throwing 73 pitches.

They didn't change the rules after Rose ran over Fosse in the 1971 All Star game...that ruined Fosse's career. I don't see baseball changing anything over this.

They may not change the rules but you might have seen the last young star be a catcher.

Buster Posey's agent is mad because if this dampens his career, his cut of Buster's big contract just went significantly down. Boo hoo.

Next thing you know an agent of an outfielder is going to call for automatic outs in the gap so they don't have collisions.

I really don't see how a rule change would have helped Posey anyway. Cousins has just as much right to the plate in the situation. I guess they could impose a "you must slide feet first in to home" rule, but that would suck.

Buster Olney is a bleeding heart.

Should a rule be implemented to protect the Kendrys Morales' of the world too?
