Cliff Lee was about 5 feet away from making it a 4 run game

Thompson's gonna go straight back to AA

Reyes just hit the little league ITPHR - Throwing errors to Fukudome and Barney.

Also, the Cubs have the unique experience of facing 2 knuckleballers in a week - first Wakefield and now R.A. Dickey.

I think it's pretty damn entertaining. As long as it's not obviously dirty, I don't have any problem with collisions at the plate.

Which is crazy considering that they are the only 2 regular knucklers and are in different leagues.

                What do you guys think?

                Personally, all I see is
Well it can go one of two ways:

                1) Posey will be fine and at the plate for the majority of his career

                2) He could probably be another Brian Downing or a better version of him. Downing was a can't miss prospect at catcher but right from the beginning he got injuries and had a rough start to his career. He was then traded to the Angels where he continued catching for a few more years but the toll that it took on his body was too much and he eventually became a DH/1B type. He became one of the more professional hitters in the AL in his career with the Angels.

Unfortunately for Posey he's in the NL and i'm not sure if the Giants have 1B open or not. If this costs him his catching ability he may have to go to a team with a hole at 1B or the AL and DH.

Don't look now, but the Sox have the best record in the AL in May so far and the offense finally seems to be clicking.

Not if you are the catcher or the runner.
