Maddux has been great for 15 years with only 1 or 2 slight hickups not counting this year. Where Bonds has only in the last 3 years been the best hitter. Maddux was the best pitcher for most of the 90s. Maddux is the best fielding pitcher. Maddux is an OK hitter. Maddux is an excellent bunter.

Not to say that I disagree with the fact that Greg Maddux might be the best pitcher in the last 15 years, but what about Roger Clemens (Although I hate him). I'm not saying that one is much better than the other, but you gotta give him credit. 300 wins is 300 wins, although Maddux will be reaching that milestone pretty soon.Comment

While I agree with you, that Maddux has better control, he was aided a little (not trying to take anything away from his greatness) by a WIDE strike zone in ATL. I'm curious to look at his home/road numbers and see if there is much difference.
Also, Maddux, for the most part, has come up pretty small in the post season.Comment
