Yeah its sickening how many games this bullpen has blown.

McClellan pitches well enough to give you an opportunity to beat the Halladay led Phils and the bullpen implodes, and implodes is an understatement.

Awful loss but its happened far too often with this bullpen to surprise me, the only surprise I guess is it wasn't a blown save the Phils started that rally an inning too early to continue piling on that stat.

Let the fun begin again, have no idea why we was late to park and won't comment on that part atleast cause for all i know there could been something with his kids or what not. The good thing is McKeon had no hard feeling about it and put him right back in the lineup the next day with confidence and seemed to be getting along in BP.

When nobody wants to pitch? I'm not sure what that means. Anywho......

So which one of these guys do you throw against Howard/Polanco/Ibanez?
Sorry, but that's a managerial decision.

Tallet and Miller, the lefties in the pen, can't get anyone out let alone lefties. And Motte hit both Howard and Polanco. Using 5 pitchers in one inning who give up 9 runs collectively doesn't really sound like the manager's fault, but hey that's just me.

I'm as big of a LaRussa basher as the next guy, but last night (as well as most of the previous blown saves) wasn't his fault. You could tell he didn't want to lose the game, or else he would have put Franklin in at some point.

Law of averages is swinging in the Twins favor right now. I'm not getting excited quite yet. Nice run though so far. Keep it up.

Yeah, how many times do you see a team lose with a 4 run lead in the bottom of the ninth with 2 outs, 0-2 count, and no one on base. Unreal.

Nice hustle by Gardner in the 3rd inning of a double header today against the Reds. Infield single in which he dove to first and was safe.

I thought I saw Dan Uggla hit a home run off of a LHP, but that's impossible. So I check the linescore, and it says the same thing.

The way Howard fishes against lefties much of the time, that is a no brainer managerial decision. Of course La Russa isn't responsible for throwing the pitches, he's responsible for putting the right people in the right place.

Can someone give me a brown paper bag?

I swear the Blue Jays offense is just ANEMIC right now.

So the more runs we score, the high our chance of winning games?

Agreed but ultimately our lefty's have both been really erratic this year, Tallet has been downright awful, so even in that situation hard to fault using a righty when they have been far more effective.

Normally I'd agree, but with the way Howard swings (and misses) at lefties, bringing in the worst lefty in your pen is probably still better than a good righty
