I'm hearing both Chicago teams are done. Would need to be wowed for a deal to happen.(In regards to their big pieces, Quentin,Thornton, Ramirez, Pena)

Makes Sense, Pena's not going to be moved tho? I don't get that because it seems that would be a piece that would help Dbacks and Pirates mainly.

Rockies have lowered their price down a bit- they are no longer asking for Manny Banuelos from the Yankees; Dellin Betances, Ivan Nova, and Jesus Montero would work. The Yankees are still saying no, though. The Rockies have a scout watching Nova tonight:

Looks like the Padres are screwed. Terrific job Hoyer! I get you know you can't get a top prospect for Heath Bell or Mike Adams (or you don't want one), but how the **** do you bungle this one up by making "demands" too high for both players? Was Robbie Erlin and Luis Sardinas too much to ask?

After weeks of searching, GM Jon Daniels has acquired some help for his bullpen. The Rangers will acquire Koji Uehara from the Orioles for Chris Davis and Tommy Hunter, according to Dan Connolly and Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun (all Twitter links).
The move hasn't yet been approved because of the money changing hands, according to Danny Knobler of CBSSports.com (on Twitter).

Has Hunter done good enough this season to warrant a spot in the O's struggling rotation?
Either way, the Orioles did a nice job finding a replacement for Derek Lee and also grabbing a complementary bullpen piece (if he isn't in their rotation).
