Re: 2011 MLB Trade Deadline Thread
Man...shows how far Lars' stock has fallen. I don't care for the move...Harden hasn't shown much recently and is injury prone. I'm not throwing myself off a bridge or anything over losing these prospects, but I'm not getting Theo's thought process with these moves (Harden and Aviles).Comment

I like the Lars/Harden deal. Lars was probably never going to crack the Red Sox team as there's no where to put him (unless he learned to play RF and run faster) and maybe Harden can actually stay healthy or something. Plus, it means Lars will hopefully get his chance finally.Comment

Hopefully he finds consistency in Cleveland and can settle down whatever is going on with his mechanics. It'd be nice to see him in the playoffs again tooAaron

Really happy we got Ubaldo, but we gave up a lot to do it. Here's hoping he dominates for the next couple of years.Browns

Looks like Derrek Lee is going to the Pirates for an A-ball hitter. Would've liked more than that, but he's been a huge disappointment this year so I can't really expect much.Comment

Even when dangled out there for an inning, the guy is still smiling in his interview and has nothing bad to say about anyone. Atleast he's excited to go to a contender and understood this is all about baseball.
He admitted his head was never in the game tonight, can't blame him for that.Aaron

I am excited to get Ubaldo in Cleveland but man we gave up a lot. I was really excited about having White and Pomeranz in rotation in the future. Wish they could have someone kept one of the two.Comment

If we can get Ludwick (or someone who can hit the ball consistently) I'd be extremely happy.Browns
