So is Russ Ortiz.. he's actually one of the most medicore pitchers in baseball.

Didn't Ortiz win 21 games this year?? I wouldn't call that overrated. However, I didn't look deeply into his numbers...

Congratulations on your admission of guilt. Ortiz was one of the worst 20 game winners in a long time. Maybe next time you *should* look into the numbers a little bit. Ortiz's numbers were a product of a great offense and solid defense. Put him on a sub-par team and he's crap.

Why the heck are you jumping down my throat??? I never said anything to recieve that type of attitude. Just that I saw he had 21 wins, that's it. Yes I didn't look into the numbers because my girlfriend was over and I didn't feel like looking up all his stats. I'd actually rather pay attention to her than sit on the internet looking for stats (some of us DO have lives and not just internet ones). I don't think I deserved that kind of response.

PS - I know more about baseball and stat's than most people. I'm very big into Sabermetrics which is the mathematical and stat analysis of baseball records/stats. After looking deeper I see that he had a horrendous 1.31 WHIP - and we all should know that WHIP according to sabermetricians is one of the most telling pitcher stats.
