Bad calls are a part of the game, but situational replay would be beneficial and save a lot of potential headaches for umpires. Even if it was only instituted for extra innings/game ending situations.
This is where I disagree, and where umpires are supposed to disagree with you as well. You must see an out to call an out. Assumptions that are made on the premises that the throw beat the runner, unless in a force out, get the call incorrectly more often than they should.

I'm not saying this runner was safe, I'm saying that it is better to miss a call safe than to miss a call out. That's why I'm not too fed up with Jim Joyce on the Galaragga call, as bad as it was. If it was the other way around (calls him out and the runner actually beat it) and the pitcher gets a perfect game for it, yeah in the moment people would be happy, but it would be undeserving and just plain incorrect. But that's for another discussion entirely.

I think it's awesome George Costanza lost weight just to be an Honorary Brave, but was the tan and the beard necessary?

Someone needs to tell the Indians that the game started a while ago.

I'm so excited to watch Jacob Turner's mlb debut. I was already excited about being able to watch the Tigers on Fox instead of my choppy online stream, this just makes it even sweeter

I thought I wouldn't be able to watch it due to MLB TV black outs then I found it on fox.

Lol. I quit watching them a few months ago. It's been so bad I quit watching baseball entirely. Maybe I'll start watching again when the playoffs start.

He ran onto the field. He is the second idiot to do that today. On a side note the Tigers have not been able to solve Haren at all. One run combined in two starts against him, both are going to end up as complete games.
