You better not miss on the inside half because it'll be fish food if you do.

Re: The Bonds Factor
Okay, well we've already established in other threads that Bonds wears the pad on an elbow that had surgery, so really there's no need to re-hash that whole thing. Besides Bagwell and Biggio wear even bigger pads and play in THE hitter's park, yet nobody complains about their pads.
What about the Dodgers? Nobody complains about them wearing Maxi-Pads.
Anyways, did anyone see that Redman (FLA's game 3 starter) said, "Barry's just another guy up there holding the bat." I guess the media room laughed in his face.Comment

Re: The Bonds Factor
Hmm, I did not know he had surgery there, but I think they should make a rule if the batter uses the padding to his advantage (i.e. letting the ball hit them there, or moving their elbow to where the ball is going, not that I'm accusing anyone), that they shouldn't be granted a Hit By Pitch, but then that'd go into the category of least enforced rules.Comment

Re: The Bonds Factor
Remember last year when Clemens quoted he was gonna nail Bonds and wear off that plastic?
Little did I know... he actually did it!

I remember that, Clemens is a thug for plunking people, just because he's in the AL and that pitchers can't plunk him.Comment
