The Jays start a series with the M's tonight. It'll be interesting to see if Henderson Alvarez continues to pitch well like he did in his debut.

What's this I hear about the Twins trading Delmon Young to the Tigers for Cole Nelson and PTBNL? Did he really pass through waivers?

@PMac21 - Phil Mackey: The #Twins have traded Delmon Young to the #Tigers in exchange for a player to be named later and LHP Cole Nelson.

Talk about falling out of favor with the organization. Trading him to a division rival? Tigers fans, welcome the most frustrating player to watch ever.

Wait what? Is that serious? I was just stopping in to do my weekly subscription & post about important Tigers homestand (3 vs Twins, 3 vs Indians) and we somehow traded for Delmon?

Seems like this guy has all the talent in the world but can never get his act together. I mean how can you go through TWO organizations with some structure like the Rays and Twins and STILL be a bonehead?

Oh well, I'm sure Tigers fans will enjoy cursing a blue streak over Young's play.

According to Phil Mackey and his Twitter account, yes. Just imagine how his crappy defense will look in all that space in your outfield.

I have no clue where to put this and it might be a moot point anyways but according to Kenny Ken Ken's (Ken Rosenthal) twitter account the A's have placed Harden, Crisp, Breslow on trade waivers.

If i'm a GM I try to pick up Harden as he still has good stuff just needs to be healthy.

I didn't realize he was noted for poor defense. I remember marveling at his arm, unless I'm thinking of someone else.

From what i've seen he's a bit of a lazy outfielder.
